Extending wireless network to an outbuilding such as a garage or workshop
I want to use a wireless network to one of my buildings on my property. it is about 300 ft to the out building. What do I need?

Here is what you will need:

This is a wireless to Ethernet bridge. You plug it into your PC's Ethernet card or network switch (if you have a network) and it converts the Ethernet connection to wireless.

This is a pigtail which will convert the connector on the bridge to a standard "N" connector which is used for outdoor antennas:

You will need a jumper cable with the length you need to go from your bridge to the antenna outside. You need an N Male connector on one side, and an N Female on the other. A different option, if the bridge will be within 6 feet of the antenna, you can use a 6 foot version of the pigtail above:
